Higher Calling Ropes Camp is a week-long Catholic youth camp experience, featuring: Daily Mass, daily low and high ropes course challenges, nightly talks by keynote speaker Doug Tooke, music by David Casey, small groups and more. Throughout the week we have fun with messy games and talent shows and take time to gather and pray, celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation and praying together in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Higher Calling Ropes Camp is a great opportunity to make new friends from all over Oregon and Washington and grow in faith. This camp is the combined effort of many youth ministers from parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon.
Higher Calling Ropes Camp
Dates: August 7-11-2017
Time: Check-in Monday August 7 between 12:30pm-1:30pm
Check-out Friday at 3:00pm (families are invited and encouraged to join us for our closing Mass at 2:00pm)
Location: Camp Yamhill in Yamhill, OR
Who can attend: Incoming 6th grade youth through incoming high school seniors (for fall of 2016).
Cost:
$450 (includes camp dvd/photos, tshirts and water bottle) for youth by July 7, 2017
$275 for staff (these are adult chaperones attending with your parish)
$300 for young adults (18-20 years of age, must have attended camp as a camper in years past)
In order to be completely registered, each camper, young adult, and chaperone - must have a Camp Yamhill Challenge Course Waiver submitted to the parish office as well as a medical release form.
